Budget Spectacle Range

At Robson Opticians we offer spectacles to suit every budget. We have spectacles starting at £45 complete and excellent mid-range products from £59.95.

Optimise your vision and reduce the weight of your glasses with our aspheric plastic lenses.

We currently offer anti-reflective coated single sight lenses from £60 per pair, or thin plastic antireflection coated lenses from £70 per pair. Prices depend upon the Refractive Index (the degree of thinning required), the prescription manufacturer and optical quality. Variations include aspheric, biaspheric or ILT designs.

Prescription Sunglasses - Excellent Prices

We offer prescription sunglasses with single sight lenses, cleaning cloth and case from only £65. We can fit prescription sunspec lenses to any of the frames that we supply.

We also have special offer prices for varifocals, bifocals and upgrades to photochromic changeable tints and polarised lenses - highly effective for reducing glare. We offer 20% reduction when purchased with other glasses to the same prescription.

Second Pair Discount

If you purchase a second pair of spectacles with the same prescription within 12 months we will give you a 20% discount.

Curved Lenses & Wraparound Frames

Curved and wraparound frames are now very much in vogue. When choosing wraparound frames, it is important that the lenses have optimal optical correctness. State of the art computer techniques are used to design and produce lenses that are ideal for the individual wearer. This gives excellent, unhindered vision, avoiding astigmatic error and prismatic side-effects.

Together with a wide selection of colour and coating options, these features combine to produce the highest level of user safety and satisfaction.

Work Station / Computer Use Glasses

We supply enhanced reading lenses for computer use and many other activities where you must be able to read but also see clearly up to arms reach.

Work station / computer glasses give much greater flexibility than a basic reading lens. They enable vision at close reading distance, VDU distance and a degree of across the office vision.

Contact Lenses

We offer a range of contact lenses, including dailies and varifocals. We have monthly disposable lenses from only £8 per month. Price includes cleaning solutions. (Flexible payment scheme is available).

Daily disposable lenses, ideal for sports and social occasions are £22 for 32 pairs on a buy as required basis.

We offer soft lenses, disposable and non-disposable types. We also supply gas permeable lenses, made to order. These are made from rigid plastic that allows oxygen through to the eye. Contact lenses are a popular choice for sports use and can actually improve the vision of people with high prescriptions.

Airoptix New Generation Contact Lenses

Using new technology which incorporates silicone hydrogel, these lenses have five times the oxygen transmissibility of other soft contact lenses.

This protects your eyes from the effects of oxygen deficiency, end-of-day discomfort, irritation dryness and redness. Priced at only £12 per month, with solution.
